These terms cover your use of the statusdock.app website, its waitlist, and StatusDock accounts and status pages. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The site and the waitlist
StatusDock is a monitoring and status page product that hasn't launched yet. This site is a preview. Joining the waitlist doesn't create an account, a customer relationship or a promise that we'll launch, launch on any date, or offer any particular features or pricing. We may change or stop the waitlist at any time.
Accounts and status pages
You're responsible for what you publish on your status pages, which anyone with the link can see. Only add checks for sites you own or may monitor, and only add alert recipients who expect to hear from you. Don't impersonate anyone or use the service to send unwanted email. Keep your API keys secret, and don't send personal data, passwords or other sensitive information through the API: it's for operational numbers and statuses. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. StatusDock is provided without any uptime guarantee: checks or alerts can be late or missed, so don't rely on it as your only way of knowing about an outage. We may change or stop the service, and limits such as the number of panels may change.
Examples and descriptions
Dashboards, status pages, timelines, response times, uptime figures and the list of integrations shown on the site are illustrative examples. They aren't real customer data or a guarantee of what the final product will do. Integrations named belong to their respective owners. Their names are used only to describe compatibility, and we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Acceptable use
Please don't: submit someone else's email address without their permission; use automated means to flood the waitlist; try to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems; or use the site in violation of any law.
Intellectual property
The StatusDock name, logo, design and site content are ours or our licensors'. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not copy, resell or build on it without our permission. The Geist fonts are provided under the SIL Open Font License.
Privacy
How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or waitlist is limited to US $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
